One crew, start to finish
The people who walked the property are the people who finish it. Nothing gets handed to a sub partway through and nothing falls between two trades.
Pioneer Landscapes LLC · Est. 2019
Founded in 2019 by Jacob Castro. We design and install complete exteriors for acreage and custom homes across the corridor from Seguin to Stockdale.
How we got here
Pioneer started in 2019 doing the work most landscaping companies around here do. Over time the jobs that fit us best turned out to be the whole ones. A property where the grade needs correcting, the water needs planning, the stone needs to hold a line, and the planting needs to look established the week we leave.
That is a different kind of job than a flowerbed refresh, and it takes a different way of working. It means the plan is agreed before anything is installed, and the same people stay on the property from bare ground through the final planting.
We work across Guadalupe, Comal, Bexar, Hays, Wilson, and Caldwell counties, on ranch land, acreage, and new custom homes that were handed over with nothing but a driveway.

The people who walked the property are the people who finish it. Nothing gets handed to a sub partway through and nothing falls between two trades.
Renderings and a planting plan come first, so the direction is agreed on before a machine shows up. Fewer surprises for everyone, including us.
The crew is on one property until it is done, rather than splitting a day across four of them. It is the difference between a job that finishes and a job that drags.
