Bare dirt is the normal starting point.
A custom home gets finished and handed over with a lot and no plan for it. An acreage place has good bones and thirty years of nothing happening around the house. Both start the same way for us, with a walk and a hard look at grade, soil, sun, and water.
What comes back is a plan for the entire property rather than a quote for a flowerbed. You approve the direction, then one crew installs it.
